Had new power head installed last year due to corrosion had 1300 hours on them. Put boat in water starboard motor has water coming out as you can see. Replaced poppet also/ Exhausts were done the year before. Need some feed back on what maybe causing it. No overheat problems yet. Only the starboard motor.

Did you replace the poppet to see if the water stopped or was it replaced previously and just now you see the water? In other words, what was done when? I assume you ran it after the powerhead was replaced and it didn't spit this water.
If water is cold, the motor may not overheat at idle. If poppet is stuck partially open, same thing.
My gut tells me it is something not good.

And the motor ran fine after that without water coming out of the bypass port?

Sorry to sound so confusing but power head was replaced over winter lay up/ Marina put boat in water advised they test ran boat for 2 hours no problems. I went to to boat to go and get fresh gas and noticed the water coming out of bypass port, I ran the boat also for about and 1 hour no issues, It appears that it only happens at initial start up. I advised mechanic I am not happy since port motor does not do that . He advised poppet was replaced for 2nd time. He is now going to check thermostats again. So frustrated at this point. Never had a problem with these motors before. I bought this boat new in 2005 and have had it serviced at this Marina ever since.
