Here’s a quick one. A Rubbermaid Roughneck 3 gallon tote fits the 14”x9” aft rigging compartment opening. A little trimming of the tote is required to allow it to sit down and allow the starboard cover to cover opening. Nice place to keep frozen anchovy trays or roe for salmon, fish or chicken bait for crab and shrimp, eel or roe for sturgeon, if a fisherman or just about anything else for the rest of you. Who doesn’t want an additional 3 gallons (or 6 utilizing both sides) of easy access storage?

That looks good. I was trying to find the Grady ones for my 208 but this looks way cheaper. How much did you have to cut?

Just cut the handles and a half inch of the lip ( lip rounds over about 5/8”) off with a dremel to allow more flush fitting of compartment lid (factory cover).

Ok, copied the OP, went and picked up the rubbermaid container for my 208. After cutting the edges and the handle the container barely fits on the battery side, had to change my terminal covers but it fit. On the other side, with the oil tank it does not fit, the container is too deep. Hopefully I can find a shallow container because this is a good idea. Thanks for the great idea. I'll be storing some extra docking lines in mine.Storage 2.jpgStorage 3.jpgStorage 1.1.jpg
