The main difference you will find on the 228 vs the 208 is the handliing around docks and ramps. The BEST advice I can give you is to trim the engine up to the top of the trim cylinders when you are approaching a dock or ramp. Doing that ensures you have good control, especially in reverse. Trimming the engine up to the top of the trim range assures your reverse thrust goes UNDER the transom instead of AGAINST it. Any 228 owner will ditto this advice.
