Hi All - I'm a new owner of an '06 232 Gulfstream - traded down from an '06 33 express ...trying to simplify retirement life but doing a terrible job at it !!
My 4 deck scuppers have disintegrated from the previous life in the Florida sun - the boat now resides on a mooring in MA so I have to replace the scuppers and the hoses to the transom drains. (prior owner had the boat on a lift so this wasn't a huge concern).
This looks to be a completely miserable task - the starboard side scuppers are accessible (somewhat) from a vertical hatch next to the foldout seat - the port side can only be accessed from the storage box cover over the batteries. This looks like a job for a small, flexible person with 4 foot arms and x-ray vision, that doesn't mind being held upside down for a few hours. This access design was not Grady's finest - and I'm being kind !!
Any help would be appreciated !!
Thanks
