265 Express battery compartment removable trays

Hi there,
My new to me 2000 265 express has removable trays under the battery compartment hatches. They are worn out. Anyone know where I can get replacements? I searched the forums and didn’t find anything.

You will probably have to get them custom made, or fix your existing ones. would be a needle in a haystack type of find as the 265 has been out of production for just about 20 years.

Thanks. I suppose I could have a fiberglass shop fix the existing ones by reinforcing them. They are just cracked around the edges.
 
You may get lucky and find a Rubbermaid plastic storage box that fits the opening. I'll see if I can find the specific model that others have used

I think it was something like this

I can't remember if the person who used a try like this had to trim the lip to make the tray sit flat in the opening. I would make a cardboard template of the opening or the old tray and take a look at options in a store like the Container Store

Yeah I had the same issue and i also just had a fiberglass guy layer mine up by using the original for a form.
