265 express helm chair

I got my 265 a couple years ago.
When I'm in the helm seat the only way to reach the wheel and throttles is to be perched on the edge of the seat or standing. With the seat slid all the way forward it's in the right spot for a leaning post.

Is this normal on a 265 or was my seat post installed too far back originally.

all the way back is for chillaxin' with your feet up while you troll for hours using autopilot...but its hard to reach the cupholder...

With the seat all the way back I could only steer with my feet maybe.

I read thru that post. Mostly height discussion. That isn't a problem on mine. On plane I'm looking thru the windshield, at idle speed I'm either standing looking over the frame or sitting looking just under it.

I guess my arms are just too short. Lol.

raising 6" really did improve the "leaning post" height
