265 Express Owners: What was mounted here?

Am outfitting a new to me '02 265 express. When I purchased it something was mounted/installed just above the washdown connection on the aft portside under gunnel area. There is a hole with 4 screw holes surrounding the center hole. I'm thinking maybe a shore power receptical or faucette handle?

Looks like the battery select switch should be there. See page 7-17 of the manual from the Grady site: http://www.gradywhite.com/customer/manuals/2002/Express/265/

No, the battery switch is behind a door beside the place that I am referring to. The missing piece/part is prob. about 3-4 inches, square and needed a larger center hole in the middle. But thanks for trying. :hmm

If it is on the port side, it might have been an accessory plug like this:

On my 2001 265, the port side has the space inside for an extra battery, which I use to run my sword light. One of my future projects is to add this plug and then rig my sword light with this type of male end.

You can do the same for kite reels or any other 12v accessory. Wonder why the previous owner would have removed it? Post up some pics for better guesses.
