I am in need of the Port bucket on the 268 Islander stern under the hatch .
Any one know of a salvage Islander or bucket for sale ?

In the other post about this topic that you responded in, I had mentioned (guessed, really) that the bucket might be a standard size and could be available outside of Grady. Did you try looking that way? Try Uline or US Plastics. The other possibility is directly through Grady. I had a small plastic trash can (bucket) in my Sea Ray and it was $19 through a dealer. Still expensive for a little plastic trash can, but not worth my time to go searching all over. See what it costs through your dealer.

I'm thinking you might have to fabricate one. You may be able to make it out of 1/4" luan pieces glued together, then fiberglass it over. Just a thought.

You could construct a rectangular box out of starboard (HPDE) with a rectangular cutout in the top panel but contoured to match the hatch lip at the top. Might take a bit of router work to fit over the gutter, try it out of some scrap plywood first.
