I just repowered from 225 Ox 66's to F200's. The OX66's were definitely gas hogs! I went out with a friend that has same boat as I (272) he had 200 hpdi's and he burnt @ 40% less fuel! (he has 19" yamaha props) ( different water conditions also) .
I only have 2.6 hrs on my new motors but plan to put many more on them soon. Because I am breaking in new motors I have not run my 18" solas 4 blades (compares to 19" 3 blade) at WOT Or even have enough time to get much of a test on- time to plane.. I did run boat at 3600 for a short time and it was same as I my 225's. (@ 30mph)

The new Yamaha guage said I was running 2 mph slower that 2 different GPS's.. Can it be adjusted? ( should trust the GPS's?)

Will post when I get more time with them.

Going from 6 cyl 225's to 4 cyl 4 stroke 200's did require a prop change.. went to 14.5 x15 4 blades .
For prop nuts, using 15x 18 4400 RPM (wot) , 14.5 x 15 5600 (wot) 4 bangers just don't want to swing a 15" dia prop.

fuel savings ( Vs- ox66's) is very notable! ($100 less each offshore trip)
