Hello Newby here...


Glad to be on the site...looks great!

Question- looking to buy a trailer for my Grady White..I need assistance on the overall weight of the vessel to purchase a trailer.

An easy way to figure this out is to look at the specs for your boat in the owner's manual, or on Grady's website. That will be a "dry weight"... the weight w/o engines (sometimes it lists those separately), options or any fluids. Take the dry weight and do some easy math... add for your engines (get their weight from Yam's website... 2-stroke or 4-stroke?), batteries, gas, water, black water, optional equipment, gear that you keep onboard, etc. Add an extra few hundred pounds for good measure.

Then measure the boat's length - a straight line from bow eye to the garboard drain plug or the transom where the bunk/rollers would end.
