282 Sail Fish Registration

I have a question for any 282 Sailfish owners. What is the boat length listed on your registration?
The reason I ask is because i am thinking about moving up to one. But my wife likes the dock we are on and I can only go up to a 28' boat. The marina gives you a slip by what is listed on the reg.

My boat is documented and it reads 28 feet. My marina charges me for 30 feet which includes the pulpit.

28', I know with the pulpit she's 30' but if anyone give me static I just point to the '282' logo.
