Hello installing an AP44 in my 305 express but having an issue on were to put the compass as anywhere in the cabin seems to get interference. I was wondering if anyone else had issues and if so where did they find to mount the compass with no interference?
 
I saw one mounted in the Ebox, above, their radios were below. Is it a precision 9?
 
You can try under the dash panel mounted to the inside of the electronics tub. Not sure if it will fit as I'm not sure of the size. This is where I mounted the one for my garmin.
 
I have a Marlin, not an express, but mine is mounted on the starboard side of the aft bunk above the little ledge/shelf. Get's it close to the waterline. I originally tried in the top electronics box, but I have speakers that were causing interference.
