I have a 1999 306 Bimini that has Groco holding tank equipped with an internal 155 Series pump. I replaced the pump in 2006, but it has once again failed. I believe it is due to long term submersion in salt water without a reliable method of proper flushing. Replacing the pump is a $600 proposition so I am hopeful there is a method available to retro-fit the unit to an external pump.
Has anyone had experience with this system and if so; has anyone modified the system to allow for an external pump? Any other advice appreciated.
