306 DECK HATCH

Hey guys,
Has anyone converted the deck hatch from a sealed hatch to a hinged hatch with "gutters" and "drains"?I want the access and would enjoy some storage, seems like wasted space and inconvienient as is now.Since I'm going in to do a ducer I'm going to convert the hatch.306 bimini :wink:

Hi, I realize this post is 6 years old now, but wondering you ever got feedback on this project or if you ended up actually doing the conversion. Would love to do something like this on my boat, a 2000 GW 306. Thanks!
