330 express access panels

Hi,
I have been a long time owner of a Seafarer 228 and just bought a 2004 Express 330. I drove it up last week by water from SC to NH...a story for another post. I am interesting in accessing the Ac and underneath the helm. There are these panels in the center berth and I can’t figure out how to get them off without damaging the little cosmetic caps over the screws. Any ideas?

Very small flat blade screwdriver. Pry the caps off carefully.

The caps are also pretty cheap to buy new ones.

IMO the caps are silly, but you can pull them off with a pair of pliers easy enough without real damage.

Anything in the 330 that could be an access panel, is. Even if it is a tackle box or refrigerator, there's something behind it and that was the way to get to it.

Don't waste your time working around removing anything - my experience has been that it's much faster to just remove whatever is in your way and put it back when you're done. Very good wire chase access almost everywhere.

Best access to under the helm area is removing the electrical panel.

Speaking of the 330 any idea how many gallons the waste holding tank holds? Can’t find it anywhere. Thx

Best access to the wiring under the helm is remove the surround around the electronics box .
