I was filling my tanks and the gas cap fell off the gunnel and the chain broke so it fell into the water.. lost. I was able to rob my fresh water cap to get by but not sure what size/type Perko cap to order? Went to West Marine and they did not have one. Grady website is not ver helpful.

Couldn't tell you about your particular application and if it's the same or similar to the one on my boat, but this Perko 0540 looks almost identical to mine... or at least from the pictures it does.

you need to know if the original cap is vented or not. It probably is. You have another tank so you have another gas cap to look at.
If you mistakenly use a nonvented cap you will have problems.
newer model boats may have a closed fuel system and a non-vented cap.
