I have owned my 2006 330 now for 12 years and am embarrassed to ask this question now.
Hopefully someone here can set me straight.

In the port stern cockpit are the Battery Selector switches.
On each side of each Battery Switch is a RED circle looking thing. About the size of a quarter or so.
One is labelled "Windlass" and the other is labelled "Main"
I believe these to be Breakers but I have never operated them.

Question: Are these operated by pushing them in or pulling them out?
Mine seems to be frozen and I don't want to force it.

Thanks in advance for your guidance. - Jack

the red button breakers are not "switchable" on or off. When they pop you can reset them by pushing the button.
they suck. The are probably rusty in the back.

Its a good idea to replace them with switchable breakers like a Bussman 185

Thank you Skunkboat.

Next I need to determine what Amp size I need for the Bussmann 185...

For the "Windlass" and "Main" - Each are 2 gauge wire (heavy stuff).

If anyone has done this on a 330, please advise. Thanks,

My 2007 330 with a Lewmar Profish 1000 windlass has a 70A breaker, but not the button type. Check the owners manual circuit diagrams for detail on your boat’s main bus.

A photo of the switch area would help. On my 2003 33 the Main breaker is in the stern box and my Windlass breaker is in the helm area under the steering wheel (Bussman 50 amp lever types with red trip button). I also have 3 low voltage push button (red) breakers for bilge float switches and memory in the stern box.

The red buttons push to reset, these are close to the batteries. A second electrical/thermal fuse may be at the helm. These usually pop down when tripped and you may need to wait a few minutes for the red bar to lock in the up position.

From Lewmar : If Profish 700 use 50A, if 1000 use 70A. Check specs for windlass model.

Windlass breaker on my '04 330 express is at the helm right under the switch that operates it... and it's one of these:windlass breaker.jpg
