I went and did the deed - I installed a Permatrim on my 226 Seafarer with a Yami 200 hp. Installation went well and I used per their instructions 3m 5200 between the Permatrim plate and the CV plate.
I used the fast cure version because I wanted to go out this weekend.
The label claims a 24 hour cure time.
I live in SW florida - 90 degrees and 70 % humidity. The 24 hour cure time is spec'ed at 70 degrees and 50 % humidity
I used the fast cure 5200 at about 3:00pm today - would like to use the boat tomorrow - the snook are running.
Any body have any experience with the cure rate of the 3m fast cure 5200.
The thickness of the 5200 is between 1/16 to 1/8 inch.
Any input would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jersey Boy in Florida
