82 22' tournament

i found an 82 tournament with small v8 omc outdrive. tilt has been replaced. trailer is very good, the boat is a fresh water boat never bottom painted . My questions are what should i be looking at in problem areas ? any issues with this year ? pictures look great , i have about a 2 hr drive to view . thankyou...

A 28 year old boat will be a challenge regardless of manufacturer. All systems are suspect. Have a professional surveyor check it out. OMC outdrives need constant maintenance and this one may be a candidate for replacement. Wiring, electronics, hull (stringers, transom), console gages, deck panels, inspection ports are candidates for replacement due to age. I am not trying to discourage you, just being realistic.
