I noticed the door frame is pulling away from the cutout at the cabin entry starboard side. It appears the wood the screws go into has deteriorated and screws no longer hold. 1st thought is larger screws with some sort of bondo in old holes. Any advice would be great. Thanks Gary T

The cabin bulkhead is made of plywood formica covered, it tends to rot when wet, usually from the deck up, verify condition with ice pick, if so can be pieced out or replaced in it's entirety.

As usual with any older boat, pays to be a DIYer !

I visulize the repair as removing the cabin door and frame on starboard side, digging out rotted wood and slipping in replacement marine plywood with adhesive to bond to walls. resecuring cabin frame to new material.

Thanks for the advice.
