Has anyone put a pair of older 2 cycle 225s or 250s on their 80s or early 90s 255 sailfish with a bracket? Are they to heavy? I have a pair of counter rotating '89 200 hp now that are getting crusty. I want to stay with 2 cycle yammys like x066 or such. Also what should I budget for the engine swap if I use all the old gear?
Or, should I just move on from her and find a boat with better motors? Like I found a '97 27 Stamas with twin 200 yammys for $18k. Thank you for your help and input.
