Friends-
I have a '95 22 Tournament I inherited from my Dad. It has the main aft 92 gallon tank and the aux 56 gallon forward tank; the boat was re-powered with a 200 HP '04 Yam 4s. My question is how do you monitor the fuel levels of the aux tank? I believe the yamaha command link is wired to the aft main tank but those levels are so erratic I the sender is not working properly; but again, I have no idea if a) the forward tank is even wired to the command link and b) how to toggle between the two tanks to get a reading on the fuel levels. Is there an aux fuel rocker switch? anyone have similar problem? Many Thanks!

Yes. I have the same boat. I have a toggle switch that switches between the main and aux sending units. Should already be there on dash.

Thank you SO much for reply; here is my rocker panel; is it like yours? Is it too right? Otherwise I don’t see anything. Also, which line goes to main vs aux tank? Thank you!

That second pic is the valve to switch between both tanks. The fuel level senders are located on top of each fuel tank. Should be able to access them through the access holes on deck. I dont see the switch on your panel you may have to add unless its not labled
Correct.

I have a '94 Tournament 22 with two tanks. If I remember correctly the main tank sender wire is pink; the aux tank is pink/white. They are both connected to the top right switch on the panel and you can rock back and forth see the level in each tank. At least that is how it is on mine. Like so:

An enormous thank you friends!

So it turns out I figured out the problem while speaking with Eddie Rowe from Customer Relations (awesome guy--so helpful!): I popped the access panels on both hatches over both tanks: turns out the aft tank was installed at the factory BUT the forward tank was NOT; I told him the manufacturer of forward tank and not made by sub-contractor GW uses for tanks. I am going to probably buy this unit from Wema rather than two separate fuel gauges; I'm replacing the aft sending unit with a new Wema unit (as recommended on other forums here) and hopefully that will give me more reliable aft tank data. I need to have the floor panels re-done over the winter, and plan to get both the Yamaha NMEA 2000 engine data plus the fuel flow sensors wired to the electronics.

As a side note, of those that have had the panels over the fuel tanks re-glassed, how much was it so I can compare estimates?

Many thanks as always, GW fam.
