I want to change scuppers on rear right side by sea door . Can’t get to them I’m thinking about making a access hole behind sea door wall. Any info

I had a 268 Islander that I made an access on the inside of the floor from the scuppers which worked perfectly to access the scuppers and change the hoses.
I have a 1997 272 that i just did this project on, I can take a picture of where I cut my access plate in today and will post.
I changed the hoses and the through hull fittings on my 282 and cut the hole aft of the transom door. I wanted the deck plate to be in a less used area. This worked well for me.
