Hello,

Long shot! Any know the measurements of the '96 226 seafarer hatches. It should be the same 93-99... A kind member on this forum may have some available but my boats wrapped up for the winter.

Thanks,
Greg

I am actually looking for the measurements of the hatch itself to replace them. Mine are quite delaminated and beat up this is a photo of another boat. No rush you are super kind! image001.png

This may not be exact, but pretty darn close. I just measured today. 25 1/4 x 15 3/8. Again, may not be exact.

Pesacake, de-laminating hatches are another Grady design tour de force like the transoms. Anyway, after hurricane Sandy there were quite a few Seafarers damaged and abandoned at my friends yard. As my hatches were really bad I had the opportunity to swap them out as the boats were on their way to the grinder. Same years, same boats, slight differences. I thought Grady was a straight production boat but it seems that all the parts do not interchange. One of the forum members here does starboard fabrication. I contacted him and he said no problem. As soon as it warms up I'll decide if I go starboard or I take the time to re-build.

Thanks Punch. I believe i have a four year window from 94-98 models with same hatch. Probably not worth the hassle/cost of shipping though! I've lived with the delamination this long :)

If you happen to find out that hatches from an '86 will fit, I have a pair that are just about perfect I need to get rid of.

I got the same number measuring the bottom edges, measuring from the top is a slightly smaller dimension.

As for the angled bit, it's just under 4" long.
