Just got a 98 gulfstream, it does not have a stereo and speakers in it and looking to add one. Looking to see what other people have do for theirs, mani;y speaker placement. I have some ideas as to where to put them but maybe some other people have better ideas.

I have a 2003 and the stereo is mounted on the bulkhead in front of the helm station. As you walk down below, it's located immediately to your right. The speakers are located on either side of the anchor locker access door in the bow, and on the right side of the helm station and the left side of the passenger seat. I believe there is an access hole near each of these installations which makes the installation much easier. Not sure about your 98 and where any access holes may be. Hope this helps.
