I currently have my fridge out to replace and there was about 1" of standing water in the bottom of the a/c pan. I have a '99 Marlin. I soaked up the water but there's a fair amount of rust and also I'm not sure if the pan has a drain (manual says it does but it's so cramped in there I couldn't find it) that may be clogged. I'm open to suggestions. Thanks

There has to be a drain. In A/C systems that I'm familiar with, it drains to a sump box, which then pumps it overboard. The sump box may collect water from other areas (head floor drain, for example) as well. It may tell you where it is in the manual, as well.

Check with the A/C manufacturer - there may be a replacement pan available in either SS or composite/plastic.
