Attended the Atlantic City show yesterday. Some beautiful boats to be seen. Love the smell of fresh gel coat and fiberglass… but not so much the sticker prices. GW had a spread there but nothing larger than the 325 Center Console. No express models just mostly DC’s and CC’s nothing that interest me.
Sticker shock was putting in mildly as we strolled the venue.

The new Regulator 30 hybrid was 478k !!
Wtf … Let that sink in !! And their 31’ CC was shown at 540k discounted from the 600ish list. We consider ourselves successful but after seeing these prices I felt like the guy who worked to get ahead in life ( crawling up the ladder) moving up out of the hole. And just got my fingers stepped on when nearing the top rung and had a pot of boiling oil dumped on us. I guess folks can justify whatever makes them happy however, first you need to be able to afford it ! These numbers will keep it just a dream for many who otherwise could of made it a reality just a short time ago.
Additionally the parking fees doubled and the show tickets increased 50%.

I believe it was the first boat on the left as you entered their display.

I was there on Friday. Didn’t mind the $20.00 for the ticket, but $30.00 to park! Had to park so tight I could barely get out of my truck. After looking at all the boats in the 21 to 25 CC range, I really believe in Grady’s “Exceptional Attention to Detail” slogan. The fit, finish and especially the transom doors are noticeably higher quality. Here are two 23’ CC for comparison.
