AC unit on the Marlin was replaced in 2019 . Upon running unit for the first time this season I noticed the compressor wasn't kicking on. So I checked the High Pressure switch on top of the unit and it was tripped open. I reset the switch and still no compressor, just the fan running. Water pump and filter is good with plenty of flow. Switch is not tripping now. Could it be the thermostat ? Guess I can perform thermostat jumper test or just replace batteries to the Thermostat ?
Any suggestions ?

Oh BTW the unit is a Mermaid M6 6,500 btu

Thanks, Pat

Maybe a time delay in the thermostat or your cooling set point is higher than the current room temp.
Jump out R & Y...the compressor should run.

.... gonna short the red to the black on the black terminal board as directed. I'm guessing access is through the Refridge cabinet so that has to come out to get the the box ?
