Adding rod holders to cabin

You are likely not going to get rods longer than 6 ft in there.
First step is trying some rods at different angles to see how they can fit.
You might be able to use rod grommets to get the tips thru the forward bulkhead into the anchor locker.
I use them on my 265 to get 7' rods in there.

The butts rest on rounded spots in shelving and a piece of teak with holes. The middle of the rods hang in those Taco rod holder
The Tacos are screwed thru the headliner into the coring of the deck. (don't go thru and out to the deck!)

I don't know how your boat is setup. My 268 Islander is a walk around with a small cabin. These photos are return trip from FL so some have no reels. I have 6 rod holders that I double up with velcro straps on the Port side. I have two on the starboard side. Two short kite rods up there as well. And if needed a few on the v-berth. My rods are 6'6" with two 7' spinning rods. This is all offshore gear. The light stuff is only put on if we are bottom fishing.

If you want to copy the rod holders I have photos on a grid that would give you measurements.
