Considering moving down to Fisherman 180 from 20 footer. I have had hydrolic steering and trim tabs on previous larger boats. I would like advice on how needed or beneficial these two options are on this model. Will I miss these two options on this boat.

I had a 180 with cable steering and it did just fine.

I never thought the need to have tabs on that boat, although all of my bigger GWs have had them.

I have a 180 with both trim tabs and hydraulic steering, I wouldn't have the boat without them. They are options, just tick the boxes !

Thanks everyone. I will do with both hydraulic steer and trim tabs. Don't want to deal with needing them later and wish I would have gotten them.
