Air conditioner 282 sailfish?

Any sailfish owners know if A 5000 Btu air conditioner is sufficient for a 2001 282 sailfish , any help would be appreciated.

Not a Sailfish owner, but am very familiar with "cabin" boats. Yes, that will do just fine - the cabin really isn't all that big.

So far for us its worked great for 5 years now . 1998 272 sailfish , spent the July 4th weekend in Charleston Harbor a few years ago , me the wife and two dogs stayed cool and dry

I have 272 Sailfish with 6,000 BTU A/C and its more than enough. I would think 5,000 would be plenty.

I installed the unit below it works better than the 7,000 BTU unit i removed.
