Anchor Chain Rub

My anchor chain is "bare" and it is banging against pulpit and locker.

Does anybody have a solution to this? I read another thread whereby a spray-on PVC coating or rubber sleeve might solve it....only need a length from the anchor to the anchor locker which is about 2.5 feet

anybody use either method and where do you buy sleeves and or spray-on pvc??

I have never done it but I have seen people use bicycle tire tubes or rubber hose. Some use a five or six foot section of 'dipped' chain to prevent damage to fiberglass. This is an example:

will try bicycle tube/tire or maybe a garden hose sheath.
buddy has the dipped chain, and eventually little holes developed in the dip that allowed the saltwater to get in and rust the chain which leaked out and stained the deck.
