Any 248/258 with single 300 hp ?

Is anybody running a 248 / 258 with a single 300? I would be interested in knowing how the performance is. I had a 248 with twin 150 2-stroke and thought the performance was quite good. Just curious how a single 300 might stack up against that.

If you are looking for fuel burn and speed at specific engine rpm, email GW. They have this info available. Another option is to look at freedom 255 numbers. They wont be too far off.

I have a journey 258 with single 3.3 liter f250. Around 39-40 mph top speed. Cruise at 4600-4900 maybe 28-32 mph give or take Fuel load. Bottom paint ,hardtop, Curtains, full gas, and lots of Fishing and kids junk in the cabin. I would think 4.2 liter f300 would give you 3-5 mph better at all rpm’s...
