A Lindy 60" Drift Sock is what I used to use on my 20' Grady. I tried a number of brands and found this one to be the easiest to use and hold up the best, at least without going up to the big parachute drogues.

They are not the cheapest. I used to find them for around $50. Now I believe they go for around $100 on Amazon. But that seems quite high. Shop around and you'll likely find better. Perhaps at Bass Pro.

I still use the same one on my Sailfish to slow my drift when kite fishing. I wish they made something a tad bit bigger.

I have multiple socks that I've been using for years with my 228. Wind dictates sock size. Only my newest socks have adjustable ends to regulate how much water can pass thru.

Kentucky: What size are those black socks in your photo? They look bigger than the 60" that I use?

Let me check when I get home, either 60 or 72. I know the adjustable ones are 72", but they aren't in that pic.
