I have a 2007 sailfish and last week i was back home with it and plugged shorepower in. Things are fine when I turn the AC panel on, but when I turn the battery charger on, the GFCI in the garage pops. This happened at two homes, so apparently something is wrong at the Guest charger. Where should I start? I'll be on the boat tonight and figured I'd bring my home battery charger with me for the lights and fridge. How should I connect the + and - leads? It has the stock 3 batteries.

If the GFCI pops, it indicates the current going down one wire to the charger is not fully coming back on the other (talking hot and neutral), as it should be. Be it having a grounded or ungrounded supply into charger. It suggests internal issue or problem at AC connection to it.

Try a different charger and if that works OK, then problem determination is finished. Now -- Go buy a new charger ^_^.
