Autopilot components location for 268 Islander

Hi - I will be installing a Raymarine X10 autopilot on my 268 this or next month.
I am looking for advice on where to mount the "Brain computer" and the "fluxgate compass" on this particular boat.
Can anyone help me out on this one? thanks.

Hi Andrew,

Didn't I give you this info for our 270 already? Specifically, where I installed each component of the Simrad AP-16VF unit..

Hi Brian - I'm embarrassed to say that I don't have my notes from our conversation as to where the fluxgate and computer went

I'm clear on the pump, connections, etc. but not on the best spot for the fluxgate.
