that's the one I was looking at also.I need to call simrad to confirm it will work for me.have 2 sea star units that are 8.34 ci that tee off main lines.so each have a feed line and return line.simrad ap44 kit works for 4.9-15.2 ci .so
not sure if I need to double the 8.34 which puts me over the rating. thanks for your input.I will be installing it mine also, more cash for gas!

We went with the Furuno 711 or our Marlin. Works beautifully. I also have one on the center console so I can hold a beer in one hand and a sandwich in the other. Both have been been excellent. Easy to use and has a bright display. Has push button function and the control knob (mini wheel) which is a must in my opinion.

Have the Furuno Navpilot 300 AP. on my 208 works great, especially enjoy the remote for steering with the gesture control.

Ill be doing the same thing on my Marlin. I will probably go with Simrad AP44. I was told that I need the high capacity. I have a 30' Marlin with Yamaha 250's. I will be replacing the Simrad AP11 with rpu160 pump.

Single ram for twins Simrad AP44 Medium Pack with NAC2 is totally sufficient.

In 2019 we upgraded our 98 272 electronics. We went with 2 9in Garmin displays, radar, autopilot, and remote spotlight. Two seasons in and I have no complaints.

Here is a picture of the helm.

I put a garmin reactor with smart pump in my boat last year. Works great, I'm very happy with it. Its far superior to the previous simrad and raymarine units I had in the past.

I have a Simrad AP 28 for several years. It works well with my older Furuno VX2 system. Make sure your pump is placed where it will stay dry. My first pump was placed just in front on my diesel tank, on the shelf above the bilge. That pump died due to corrosion. My current pump is located under the captains seat, near the fresh water pump. It still looks new after 2 years on the new pump.
