Aux Fuel Tank 226

Hello All, I have a '01 226 with the standard 96 gallon fuel tank. I would like to add the optional fuel tank forward of this. Anybody have tips advice for this project? Any info would be greatly appreciated. JH

Are you going to do it yourself? I wouldn't think it would be too big of a project. The hardest part would be running the hoses.

Yes, planning on doing it myself. I was interested in where to buy new tank, and the piping arrangement.

I have the aux tank on mine. Replumbed the fuel lines last summer. Running the hoses back to the selector valve is pretty easy. Running the fill line would be a pain.

My Tournament 22 had hoses for the aux tank already installed, though no tank has ever been. The main is also in the forward compartment and came that way from the factory ... :wink:
