In the aft starboard compartment of my Adventure, near battery #1, I have a ProMariner ProStart 12 battery charger. There is no on-off switch. Am I correct to assume that when I hook up my shore power cable that the charger automatically comes on? It appears that the unit is wired to my shore power terminal on the port side on the outside of the aft compartment near battery #2 but I can't seem to get access to trace the wires.

Thanks for any info.

Plug it in and see if your battery voltage comes up, if it does you know its wired directly to the inlet.

I agree with that statement.

I have not seen the wiring diagram for this boat but typically it goes to a breaker.

Regardless applying power and looking for a voltage rise will answer the question.

Let me know if I can further assist you.
