Just wondering where you 192 owners have had your battery switches mounted. I was looking at the inboard side of the engine splashwell, starboard side. The engine wouldn't come near it when in the upright tilted position. I think the only issue may be waves coming over the transom and really dowsing it.

I didn't want to put it under the cutting board area as i still plan on putting a rod rack there in the future.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks

Hi Ray,

My switch is mounted on the starboard sidewall of the boat, under the rear seat. I have one battery there and the second battery under the port side rear seat. The switch is a little awkward to get to, but it is well hidden and well protected. It works for me (but so does everything on my 192!).

I have mine on the starboard side wall as well under the rear seat. It's nice and out of the way. My battery is pretty much the exact setup as the other guy, one under the seat and one port side. Hope this helps. For what it's worth, i would never put it in the engine well.
