I bought this boat last October and haven't run it since my seatrial (too cold). At seatrial it wouldn't rev above 5300 WOT with a 15 1/2 x 17T SWS stainless prop on the Yamaha F225.I think it should rev higher with the right prop.It sits and rides very slightly stern heavy with the 225 and a 9.9 kicker so I wonder if a 4 blade prop might help with some stern lift?
Is there a consensis among the many 208 owners about which prop performs best on this hull? Thanks for any advise.Ray

I am running a power tech 4 blade 15p getting 5600-5700 rpm WOT. Have my F200 xb mounted on the last hole, as high on the transom as possible. Great midrange for cruising and slower speed on plane. Replaced a ss Yamaha Reliance 141/2 x 15 which I keep for spare. I do not have a hard top so that would make a difference.

Here's the performance data on the boat and it says what prop they're using for each motor, which you might want to save this to your computer as the 208 Adventure was discontinued and I'm surprised they still have it posted. They don't have an option for a Yamaha F225, but it should give you a ballpark idea as to what to expect. I've never called him before, but everyone swears by Ken at Prop Gods, might give him a call and see what he has to say?
