I trailered my jet ski over to Kipoteke State Park (Concrete Ships) this morning. I dropped at the ramp around 0715 hrs and headed to the shoals off of Fisherman Island on the ocean side of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. The shoals were kicking good today with 4-6 foot breaking waves all around me and I fished right in the middle of them in about 4 foot of water. The roller coaster ride paid off and I ended up catching 4 nice Red Drum from 44-52 inches. It was a blast! I was using whole live crabs on a fish finder rig that I got at Pop's Bait and Tackle in Hampton. I had two fish on at a time twice. I stopped and took a couple of pictures on the way back in, I even managed another shot of the High Rise Falcon. I only saw one other boat all morning, back at the ramp around 1300 hrs.
