Blue Side Compartment Carpet

The blue carpet needs replacing. I could put in new carpet in a more neutral color, or I could replace it with 1/4 starboard and a little 5200.

Have any of you replaced this carpet and if so, what have you replaced it with?

I haven’t yet but it’s on my list of to do’s.
The carpet is fine on a pleasure boat but on a fishing boat its a pain to keep clean and it stays wet. I’d go with the starboard.

Are your side walls where the carpet is installed flat?
I had same issue with mine but the wall contour was rounded. No way to get an easy fix, so I just used dark grey dye watered down and a 6" paint roller to blend in and tone down the blue. The Brady Bunch blue .
