Trying to find a reliable, quality company who makes boarding mats. Tired of people tracking mung etc on my clean decks. Thoughts, ideas?

Thx

Ha! I literally just ordered one of these this morning...

i dont think a mat is going to keep your decks clean. the only way to do that is to have a no shoe policy. thats what i do and it works

Probably coming in from the dock. Hose it down regularly. I also put a designated boat towel where people hard to wipe shoes as they get on.

Go to your local discount store (Ocean State Job Lot, Big Lots, etc.) and buy a front door mat. Screw it down to the dock. Hose it offf frequently.

I did as Freedom did and purchased through Cape Marine. We have both a floor mat and the over the gunnel mats and find them helpful. Both are about 5 years old, and still holding up well.

Yes, i do the same, but that works not always, for weather conditions for example.
My common fishing buddies have non marking sole boat shoes they use only aboard.

A boarding mat will not help with shoes who's sole leave black streaks, i have white crocks and flipflops aboard i use when i am not barefoot.

Cleaning up a mess immediately helps immense to have dirt not stick, mud, fish blood, spilled drinks, etc, etc, worst is to clean after a long day of boating.
We get a lot of Sahara dust here and the boat is usually filthy with it, so once boat is ready to leave i dife the deck a quick washdown.

However, if boarding mat will solve OP's problem then he got some info above.
