Does anyone here own a boat club franchise (Freedom or Carefree or another network)? If so I'd be interested in learning more about how hard it was to get started, what the economics look like, how challenging it is to run, etc.

In MA, there is a single owner of the Freedom boat line as I understand it from the Cape to Boston. There is a steep one time new member initiation fee and then a recurring fee of approx $1K per mo I'm told. In the end, prob competitive for the user but the boats are all the same - small CCs with single screw. That's about all I know.
