Boat Jack Stands for 282 Sailfish

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience or recommendations for boat jack stands for a 282 Sailfish.
What sizes? How many? Are they better than just blocking the boat? The boat will be in my driveway for the winter.

Hi,
I would recommend blocking at the bow and aft with a minimum of 2 stands - 4 stands would be best.

I don't remember what size I bought but if I were to do it again I would get galvanized over painted. Plus I would get "sailboat" style for the bow. I agree with 4 stands plus blocking.
