We currently keep our Express 305 in the water. We are considering purchasing a boat lift and need some advice on type, brand, cost, etc.

It would have to be the type that can just be tied alongside a floating dock.
We are on a river so the current can be quite swift.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Based on the experiences I have had with my father in laws lift, which is perpendicular to the current. I suggest orientating your lift parallel with the current in order to use it to your advantage.
As far as brand I would look at http://www.noprofileboatlifts.com

I have a Davit Master for my 25 ft. Grady Sailfish. I'm on a fresh water river and it is tricky when the current is strong.

I'm happy with the Davit Master. I've had it for three years. I found that it is not much more expensive to over size the lift. I have a 11,000 pound lift. I would guess the Grady weighs in at 6,000. Some day someone may want a bigger boat.

hello amigo,
What year is/was your grady?
did you have to reinforce the stern eyelets to lift the boat?
