I have a 2017 Fisherman 236 and I'm interested in a bow shade. I saw a few last year at the Atlantic City Boat Show and I thought it would be nice when anchored up at the sandbar. Sadly with Covid, there are no boat shows to look at any this year. Has anyone had any experience with these shades. Are they easy to deploy? How hard are they to initially install? How much room do they take up to store? Thanks.

Take a look at two products each about as different from the other as can be.
Taylor Made bow shade: Start at under $200, pretty light duty
SureShade, if you have to ask how much it is, you probable can't afford it:)

If your issue is shade at the dock, I have seen folks put a patio umbrella on the deck/ It actually worked pretty well but you will need a place to store it when not in use. I have seem beach umbrellas in rod holders too.
In any case search the web, there are a lot of examples
