I have been losing a thruster blade each season for the 2 years I have owned the boat.
Last week the thruster made some very unusual noises with no thrust each way and then the problem
cleared itself but the thruster did not sound right. I knew a blade was lost just like last year.
I was pulled out for Irene and this confirmed it for me.
The first time it looked like stress fracture along the base of the blade. This time it was obvious something was in the tunnel and contacted all the blades. Since I was pulling away from the dock, I figure maybe a blue claw crab may have been sitting in the tunnel.
Just wondering if anybody else has these problems. I ordered a bunch of spares from Nation Wide Thruster.
