ran my 268 islander for a bit the other day, and at about 3/4 throttle, the buzzer located behind the ignition key switch constantly went off. shut her down, and the buzzer would not go away. had to disconnect the buzzer to get it to stop. any ideas?

I am having the same issue on my 2002 150hp V6 Johnson two stroke. The SELOC shop manual pin pointed the cause as a sensor on the port power plant. It even mentioned that if the sensor was bad the buzzer/horn would sound constantly. I, too, had to disconect the wire from the buzzer. PM me at jerrydsmithjr@gmail.com and we can discuss further details.

my mechanic seems to think it is a bad thermostat. he will be replacing them next week, but I am not sure what the code for constant buzzing is.
